Once again, it has been another strong year for the Colleges with our students making extremely good progress in achieving outstanding outcomes. Through the dedication of our staff and students, we are delighted that our A-level pass rate is 100% and Vocational pass rate 99% with a significant number of our students achieving high grades.

Head of School Liaison & Admissions at Salford City College, Sharon Sharples, said: “Our warmest congratulations go out today to our students who received their A-level and Vocational results this week.

The College is hugely impressed by the hard work and dedication of our students during these last few months and the results demonstrate the commitment our students have shown in completing their studies in difficult circumstances.”

Amanda has now secured her place at the renowned Oxford University in September to study a Master of Physics. She explained: “Choosing to study at Pendleton Sixth Form College was one of the best decisions of my life, and has allowed me to mature and grow as a person as well as achieving things which I’ve dreamt of ever since I was small.”

The support and commitment of our staff has enabled our students to develop their skills and knowledge under difficult circumstances and we will continue to support them with their next steps.

Eccles Sixth Form College student Anna Ball also achieved an outstanding result gaining a triple distinction star in the Nursing Cadets programme. Speaking about her experience at the College, Anna said: “The placements that are available to you whilst studying Nursing Cadets at Eccles Sixth Form College are one of the best things about studying here.
