What is enrolment?
Enrolment is the quick and easy process which all applicants must undertake to become students at the College. The process allows us to ensure you have chosen the right course, at the right level, as well as checking that the personal information we have for yourself is accurate and up-to-date. Once you have completed our enrolment process, you will receive your Student ID Card, confirming your student status.
When do I enrol at the College?
Once you have applied to study at the College, our Admissions Team will issue you with a dedicated enrolment appointment. Please inform the College if you are unable to attend your appointment by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org and we will happily re-arrange this for you.
16-18 Enrolment will commence on Thursday 12th August 2021 and will run until Friday 3rd September 2021.
16-18 enrolment appointments will be issued to applicants on Monday 12th July 2021.
Adult Enrolment will commence on Tuesday 31st August 2021 and will run until Friday 10th September 2021.
Adult enrolment appointments will be issued to applicants on Friday 30th July 2021.
Higher Education Enrolment will commence on Monday 13th September 2021 and will run until Friday 17th September 2021.
Higher Education enrolment appointments will be issued to applicants on Friday 6th August 2021.
If you have not yet applied to study at the College, please complete our Online Application Form in order to generate your dedicated enrolment appointment.

What do I need to bring to enrolment?
In order to complete our enrolment process, all applicants will need to bring the following information:
- Proof of ID: This can be your Passport, Birth Certificate or Driving License together with your National Insurance Number (if you have this).
- Your Current Qualifications: These are important if you are to enrol on the right course. If you do not have them with you, you may have to collect them and then return to College to complete your enrolment. If you have lost your exam certificates, please contact our Admissions Team on 0161 631 5050 for advice.
Additionally, adult and Higher Education applicants are asked to provide the following information:
- Method of Payment: If your course has associated fees, we will require an appropriate method of payment. If your employer is covering the cost of your course, we will require a letter on company letterhead confirming this. If you are funding your course by an Advanced Learner Loan (or a Tuition Fee Loan for Higher Education courses) please bring your loan reference number with you.
- Proof of any benefits you receive: This information will enable us to assess whether there is any fee remission available for your chosen course(s).
University of Bolton & University of Salford Enrolment
Enrolment at the University of Bolton: Please note, if your course is awarded by the University of Bolton, you will also be required to enrol at the University. You will receive separate instructions about this process.
Enrolment at the University of Salford: Please note, if your course is awarded by the University of Salford, you will also be required to enrol at the University. The University of Salford will send you a welcome email at the end of August, this will include instructions on how to complete their Registration Process. The email will be sent to the email address on your UCAS application and will contain important login information. It is essential you retain this information for future reference. You will need to complete the registration process in full, if you have difficulty with this our staff will be on hand to assist you at enrolment. Please note, if applicable the completion of this registration will trigger payment of the student loan maintenance payments.
