On 28th November, students from across Greater Manchester came together at The Light Cinema, Stockport for this year’s inspiring GM Colleges Student Question Time. Representing Pendleton Sixth Form College, Jack Henry contributed to a lively debate on online censorship, while Charlie Burrows joined the main panel to answer questions on COP30 and climate action, showcasing thoughtful and informed student leadership.

The event welcomed an impressive line-up of guest speakers, including Baasit Siddique (TV personality and education specialist), Dr Antony Edkins (Greater Manchester VRU), Wayne Jones (Chair, GM Chamber of Commerce), Rob Creber (Head of Social Value & Partnerships UK, Therme Group), Lisa Smart MP (Liberal Democrat MP for Hazel Grove and Marple), and Hannah Spencer (Leader of Trafford Green Party). Their insights helped spark engaging discussions on issues shaping the future of the region and the nation.

Bringing together students, experts, and local leaders, GM Colleges Student Question Time once again provided a dynamic platform for young people to make their voices heard on the topics that matter most.
