The topics studied on T Level in Health and Social Care is designed to give you an insight into aspects of the healthcare sector. You will study modules such as the health sector, providing person centered care, health & wellbeing and science concepts.
Progression
When you have completed a T Level course, you will be able to choose between moving into a skilled occupation, Higher or degree level apprenticeships and higher-level technical study, including Higher Education in Health and Social Care. Employment:• Ambulance support worker • Healthcare support worker in a health setting • Senior healthcare support worker in a health settingMany of our Elite Nursing Cadet students progress onto university to study a wide range of nursing specialisms. In 2021 all our students were offered interviews at their first choice of university and specialism. Specialisms include: - Adult Nursing: Students choosing this specialism have received offers from various universities including Edge Hill, Salford, Keele, Nottingham Trent and Coventry. - Mental Health Nursing: Students choosing this specialism have received offers from Liverpool John Moores and the University of Central Lancashire. - Children’s Nursing: Students choosing this specialism have received offers from Southampton University (part of the Russell Group), Coventry and Keele.- Midwifery: Students choosing this specialism have been offered places at Salford University and have received interviews from Edgehill, Bolton, Liverpool John Moores and Nottingham.Apprenticeship (progression onto lower-level apprenticeships may also be possible in some circumstances, if the content is sufficiently different)Assessment

Entry Requirements
For advanced Vocational courses, students are required to have five grade 4s at GCSE, which must include English and mathematics. For our elite programmes additional assessment evenings may be required.
