Outline

Level 1: Safe working practices, brick and block laying skills.

Level 2: Cavity and solid wall construction, quantities and piers.

Progression

On completion of your Level 2 qualification, pathways will include a route into a professional construction course or an apprenticeship. Painting and decorating is the perfect foundation to an apprenticeship.

Entry Requirements

Level 1 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have grade 1s/2s at GCSE.Level 2 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have progressed from the Level 1 course.Students may qualify for direct enrolment onto our Level 2 courses for ages 16-18. Eligibility will be determined by teachers during the enrolment process and will require an average G-Score of 4.

Don’t let the cost of studying put you off – most of our students study for FREE, and those who don’t qualify for funding are very often eligible for an Advanced Learner Loan.
