This week Graphic design students travelled to Amsterdam to explore the rich variety of art that Amsterdam has to offer.
Explaining the reason behind the trip, Graphic Design teacher Jen Craven, said: “I organised this during the last academic year for the first year Graphics Vocational students who are now in their second year and approaching their FMP.”
“Amsterdam was an ideal destination for art and design with lots to see and do and I really wanted to organise a residential trip that will benefit the students in their final major project and give them fantastic life experience.”
Over the course of the trip, the students took part in a large number of trips, visits and activities. The group was able to visit the Palace of the Dam to view the magnificent sculptures, art, paintings and architecture.

As well as viewing famous pieces of work, students were able to tour around the exciting street art and graffiti that has inspired many.
