Business and Culture students talk to industry professionals

Business and Culture students at Pendleton Sixth Form College have been taking part in a range of interviews with industry professionals over the last month.

Among the interviewees were Guy Garvey and Sophie Svenssion. Guy Garvey is best known for being the lead singer of the renowned rock band, Elbow. Garvey is also a Radio 6 presenter and is often heard over the airwaves.

Sophie Sveinsson is a radio presenter on the popular station, XS Manchester. Taking the radio every weekday between 1pm-4pm, Sophie has a lot of experience within the industry and provided students with an insight into the life of a radio presenter.

Film studies student, Annaliese, had an opportunity to interview BAFTA award winning Scriptwriter and Director Matt Greenhalgh. Matt is best known for working on the films: Control, Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool, and Nowhere Boy.
