When & How to Enrol (16-18)

It’s not too late to enrol with Salford City College Group. Please contact Admissions on 0161 631 5050 or enrol@salfordcc.ac.uk to schedule your dedicated enrolment appointment.

Enrolment is the simple process we take to make you a fully-fledged student. It allows us to snap a quick picture for your new Student ID card and ensure you’ve chosen the course that is right for you.

We look forward to welcoming you to enrolment. In the meantime, if you have any questions, our Admissions Team are on hand to assist you on 0161 631 5050 or enrol@salfordcc.ac.uk

You will need to bring the following with you to your enrolment appointment:

  • GCSEs and any other exam results: These are important if you are to enrol on the right course. If you do not bring this with you to your enrolment appointment, you may be required to collect them before returning to the College in order to complete your enrolment.
  • Parent/Carer Contact Information: It is important that we receive this contact information, so that your parent/carer can access our ParentPortal. Please complete our Parent/Carer Information Form and bring this with you to your enrolment appointment. Download a copy of our Parent/Carer Information Form
  • Proof of Identification: Please bring with you either your Passport or Birth Certificate, together with your National Insurance Number, if you have this.
  • Your Enrolment Baseline Learning Support Questionnaire: Download a copy of our Baseline Learning Support Questionnaire

If you have received additional learning support at school, you will also have the opportunity to meet with our Additional Learning Support Team at enrolment, to discuss how we can continue to support you at college. If you have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please ensure that you meet with the Learning Support Team at enrolment.

We offer a wide range of courses at all levels and in a wide variety of subjects. We are confident that we have the course that is right for you. If you do not get the GCSE grades that you were hoping for, please do not worry; there will be staff members from the College’s Careers Team on hand to provide advice and guidance.

Please note, some of our courses which require specialist facilities may fill-up during the enrolment process, where this does happen our teachers will be on hand to support you in finding an alternative course.
