Join us this Saturday for the Worsley College Community and Family Fun Day Event! All of Manchester are invited.

9 May 2019

On Saturday 11 May 2019, Worsley College will be hosting their second annual family fun day event, with everyone invited!  Between 11am and 2pm, families from across Greater Manchester are invited to help the college celebrate another successful year with everything from a BBQ and bouncy castle, to beauty treatments. The college’s onsite training restaurant, The Glass House at Worsley, will be putting on a gourmet BBQ, selling homemade produce and serving Pimms and lemonade for mums and dads. On top of this, their very own salon will be putting on free face painting and glitter tattoos for the kids and providing beauty treatments for parents. The event promises to be fun for the whole family. For kids, there will be a bouncy castle, balloon modelling, a slime station, airwalker balloon characters, a fun photobooth, soft play and story corner, amongst other activities. Parents will be able to browse art and craft stalls and support local charities who will be hosting fundraising activities. There will also be an ice cream van and first aid demonstrations. Some of the local businesses and charities attending the event include St John Ambulance, Hayfield Studios, Seasonal Words, Laney’s Craft, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Kath Nuttall Artist and New Life Charity. All are invited to this free event, which saw more than 400 people through the doors last year. Come along to Worsley College, Walkden Road, Worsley, M28 7QD, between 11am and 2pm this Saturday for a fun day out. Contact us on 0161 631 5000 for further details.
