The excitement and anticipation of A-level Results Day has culminated in a moment of pride and celebration at Salford City College Group. The College’s students have once again demonstrated exceptional dedication, hard work, and resilience, achieving remarkable results that reflect both their individual efforts and the support of dedicated staff. 
 

Rebecca Parks, Group Principal, said “We are incredibly proud of our students and their outstanding achievements in this year’s A-level examinations. A-levels are known for their rigour and demand, requiring students to demonstrate not only academic knowledge but also critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Our students have risen to this challenge admirably, and their results are a testament to their commitment and perseverance.”

Ibrahim Nino achieved an outstanding four A* grades in Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths, and will now be going to the University of Oxford to study Chemistry.

The star student said: “I really enjoyed my time at Pendleton Sixth Form College. The teachers were always helpful and supported me to achieve the grades that I needed for University.”

Aarij Khan, who chose to study at Pendleton Sixth Form College (part of Salford City College Group) because of its notably outstanding progression, accomplished an impressive set of results, which included two A grades in Chemistry and Biology, in addition to an A* grade in Psychology. Aarij now looks forward to studying dentistry at the University of Manchester in September.

Hamza Bagail had equally inspiring results, and is now progressing onto an apprenticeship, having achieved a Distinction in Engineering. He said: “It was an amazing experience studying at the College, I have had a great time studying here.”

In addition to Henry Brown, who has achieved two A grades in Further Maths and Maths, as well as a grade B in Computer Science and a grade C in Physics. Henry looking forward to beginning his apprenticeship journey in the coming weeks.
