A DOMINANT DISPLAY FROM ECCLES SIXTH FORM COLLEGE AGAINST BOLTON SIXTH FORM

...

Eccles went in front when Ryan Allen scored the 1st goal of the game with a brilliant cross field ball from Max Hinchy. Eccles doubled their lead shortly after when Tom Bradbury received the ball in the final third and dribbled past his opponent on the edge of the box and scored with a long-range shot. Just before half time Harry Officer scored another long range shot from outside the box to make it 3-0.

We spoke about at half time becoming more ruthless in front of goal and pressing with intensity while making sure we had a good rest defence to keep a clean sheet and the lads took this information onboard and applied it in the second half.

...

The next two goals that we scored came from corners which resulted in Ayo Raji scoring two powerful headers. Harry Officer then got his second goal of the game and Eccles sixth goal. This was without a doubt the best goal of the game from a team perspective as it resulted in switching the play from the right-hand side of the pitch to the left and some great combinations to play around the opposition which freed up Harry Officer to score another powerful long range shot that flew past the keeper.

...

Keivin Dushaj scored the 7th goal of the game with a side foot finish from within the 6-yard box from a superb dribble and cross from Ellis Pindoria-Stott. The last goal of the game was another great team goal when Keivin unselfishly passed the ball to Quecuto Sani to pass the ball into the back of the net.
