Build Salford is a unique traineeship programme for 16-24 year old Salford residents to get involved in if they are seeking the gateway to an apprenticeship with some of the best, local construction companies. The programme has over 20 dedicated industry partners who all have one thing in mind, to create as many opportunities as possible for young people looking to kick start their career in the construction sector.

The traineeship programme consists of a ‘getting site ready’ phase of 3 weeks, including site visits, trade taster sessions and the planning of a customised work placement. This is followed by a 7 week work placement, during which there is support for applications to an apprenticeship.
