Pendleton Students Complete Cambridge HE+ Programme
Pushing our students to achieve their full potential is vital to our mission at Salford City College. A group of our students at Pendleton College have participated in several “super-curricular” activities designed to stretch and challenge them to their academic limits. In partnership with the University of Cambridge, the Higher Education+ Programme gives students bespoke support from the outreach practitioners at Cambridge, helping them ensure that their applications are as highly polished as possible.
Designed to ensure a successful transition to some of the most highly selective universities in the country, this partnership has proved a challenging and exciting experience for our students. These learners were able not only to complete the programme and receive their certificates, but excel at every stage of the experience. Our students at Pendleton are always exemplary in their commitment and high achieving, with a very large number of them progressing to some of the UK’s most prestigious academic institutions. By gathering support initiatives like this one, we help make sure they have everything they need to reach their greatest potential.
Congratulations to Anousha Mehmood Khalid, Muhammad Kassama, Muhammad Muhammad and Esi Annan Yorke on completing the programme. From your teachers and all the staff at Pendleton, we extend our warmest wishes—and we will be watching your future careers with eager attention!
