Academic Misconduct
Cases of Academic Misconduct are investigated using the University’s Academic Misconduct Procedure which can be found here.
Complaints Procedure
Complaints which relate to your academic programme of study are called Academic Related Complaints, and they should be dealt with by Salford City College through the College’s Student Complaints Procedure. Academic related complaints could include complaints about programme delivery, teaching, feedback and learning resources.
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome once you have exhausted all stages of the College’s procedure, you have a right to request a review of their complaint by the University. Consideration in these cases will be via Stage 3 of the University’s Complaints Procedure. The University’s Stage 3 Complaints Form can be found here.
The University’s Quality & Enhancement Office will notify you of the outcome of any complaint considered under the University’s Student Complaints Procedure and the next steps available to you if you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint. In these cases you will receive a Completion of Procedures letter from the University.

Non-Academic Related Complaints
(complaints not relating directly to your academic programme of study) should be dealt with by the College through the College’s Student Complaints Procedure. Non-Academic Related Complaints could include complaints about social spaces, car parks, fees and funding. The College should issue you with a Completion of Procedures letter in these cases.
