Our facilities are designed to ensure your skills meet the requirements of your chosen sector. Whether your passion is for music, media or marketing, we have an abundance of state-of-the-art-facilities, including studios, rehearsal rooms, and MAC suites to prepare you for a career in the industry.

Our partner facilities have had multi-million pounds worth of investment. At Pendleton Sixth Form College, we have a modern, vibrant, and newly refurbished graphic design studio, plus two renowned theatres. At Eccles Sixth Form College we have a four-acre indoor and outdoor animal centre, housing up to 250 species, and a Centre of Excellence for Sport, which is closely linked to the Manchester United Foundation. We have access to these facilities, plus many more across the city.


The University Centre at Salford City College


The University Centre is located at FutureSkills at MediaCityUK, a well-established centre of excellence for those wishing to pursue a career in creative and digital industries. The College’s state-of-the-art facilities include music, radio, television and photography studios with the capacity to live-stream TV and Green Screen technology. Located within the heart of MediaCityUK, FutureSkills provides the opportunity for students to learn in an industry-standard, professional environment. 

Eccles Sixth Form College

Situated within a spacious, green environment set in a leafy residential area Eccles Sixth Form College offers a range of state-of-the-art facilities, including one of the country’s most outstanding animal management centres, which extends over four acres of land and includes over 250 different species. Inside there are nocturnal, small mammal, and aquarium rooms sitting alongside well-equipped laboratories and veterinary nursing suites. Those with a passion for equine studies will spend some of their time working with British Horse Society instructors at the well-renowned Ryders Farm Equestrian Centre, which has an indoor riding arena, cross country course, and over 50 horses.

Eccles Sixth Form College currently hosts our Animal Management, Equine Studies and Travel & Tourism courses. 

Pendleton Sixth Form College

Visitors to Pendleton frequently comment on its happy and purposeful atmosphere, with specialised learning environments that support students in their studies. Performing Arts students have the chance to perform in one of the College’s two industry-standard theatres, while those with a passion for art have access to a range of specialist art rooms, 3D workshops, printmaking facilities and the bright and airy graphic design studio. Those with a passion for science will spend their time learning in one of our fully-equipped laboratories, opened in association with NASA.

Pendleton Sixth Form College currently hosts our Art & Design and Performing Arts courses.
