Creative Music Auditions
Thank you for your interest in studying Music at FutureSkills at MediaCityUK.
Now that you have been invited to audition, you will need to prepare the following.
Audition 1: Performance
If you play an instrument or sing, you should prepare for this audition.
You are asked to prepare a short performance of Blowin’ in the Wind by Bob Dylan. You should base your performance on the excerpt of the song in the lyric/chord sheet and mp3s provided in the link below. You should work out a part for your instrument. For example, if you play drums, you should work out a drum part that you can play along to the version of Blowin’ in the Wind in the audition pack.

You are asked to provide an online link to an example of your recorded creative work. This could be on YouTube, SoundCloud or Bandcamp. Applicants should be prepared to answer questions based on their recorded music. Questions will include equipment used, working processes and sequencing techniques.
