  Do you have a passion for engines? Have you ever wondered what a career in the motor vehicle industry would be like? If you’re about to leave school and are looking for the next step in your academic journey, then we have the course for you!   To become a motor vehicle technician, you will need to have good practical skills, as well as being good at problem solving. Over the duration of the course you will also gain excellent customer service skills. These sets of skills will benefit you when you enter the workplace. Many of our students go on to progress onto apprenticeships, or into employment.  

Salary insight

The average salary for a Motor Vehicle technician is £30,000. However, the earning potential can be higher if you own your own garage or company.

You will have the essential skills needed to apply for an automotive apprenticeship or similar engineering pathway.
