Applied Science (Vocational A-Level)
This subject complements a range of other Vocational A-levels for you to enjoy learning science through a highly practical pathway. This course is exceptionally useful if you would like to enhance your understanding of biology, chemistry, or physics in a practical learning environment.
Outline
You will study the fundamental aspects of biology, chemistry, and physics, including a range of scientific practicals in the lab.

- Practical assessments in the form of experiments and primary research

Entry Requirements
For advanced Vocational courses, students are required to have five grade 4s at GCSE, which must include English and mathematics.
Progression
Applied science combines well with all of our other Vocational A-level courses. Depending on the subject combination, students progress to study a variety of pathways in Higher Education.
