Outline

Students will enhance their knowledge of mathematics, physics, electronics and design plus have multiple opportunities to engage in practical experiments. They will also learn how to solve Complex problems, analyse information and yse logic in everyday situations.

There are several mandatory units plus optional units consisting of topics in mathematics, physics, engineering principles, health and safety and project work. Students complete a major project in the second year involving planning, developing, producing and evaluating their own work.

Entry Requirements

Students will need five Grade 4s including at least two Grade 5s from a selection of mathematics, combined science or physics, with the rest of these subjects at Grade 4.
