Professional Construction (Vocational)

Are you considering a career in the construction Industry? With many routes to take, this course is designed for anyone wishing to obtain a nationally recognised professional qualification. You will study specialist units that cover project management, professional development, surveying, computer aided drafting and design (CAD), tendering and estimating and topographic surveying. The sector is responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, building, canals and dams. If you are an aspiring architect, surveyor or civil engineer our courses will provide you with the skills to progress in this fast-paced industry.

Entry Requirements

Five 4s at GCSE including English and mathematics

Progression

Students can progress with us to study a HNC in Construction & The Built Environment at our University Centre or a Higher Apprenticeship in Construction with Apprenticeships at Salford City College. Alternatively, students can progress to study an undergraduate course at a university of their choice or progress to employment.
