The Level 3 Certificate in Business Studies is the equivalent to one A-level subject and combines well with the other Vocational A-levels we have on off er. You will learn how organisations operate in theory and how they function in practice.

Outline

You will study a range of topics including business environment, business resources and communication, introduction to marketing, and creative product promotion. 

Assessment:

•  Written assessments
• Practical assessments and portfolios of evidence
• Presentations to staff and students
• Synoptic assessments

• Visits to KPMG, PwC, and the Bank of New York Mellon
• Work placement opportunities at prestigious organisations such as ITV, Peel Media and the NHS.

Entry Requirements

For advanced Vocational courses, students are required to have five grade 4s at GCSE, which must include English and mathematics.

Progression

This course will give you a good grounding in becoming a successful business manager or running and developing your own business. Alternatively, you may decide to continue your education and move onto Higher Education either with us or at a diff erent university.
