Are you passionate about shaping the minds of young people today? Do you want a career that involves making a difference in the lives of others? As a teacher, you will have the power to influence the lives and future of those you work with and will help to form the intellects of the next generation.
Our University Centre partners with five colleges in Salford, giving you the best choice of establishments for gaining the work and teaching experience you will need to complete your qualification.
You will benefit from working with expert tutors who have many years of teaching and educational leadership experience. They will help build your knowledge and confidence, supporting you with your next steps into employment as a teacher. Many of our former teacher trainees have secured employment within the College having made such strong progress during their training year.
You will be supported by a teacher education tutor as well as a subject mentor. Smaller class sizes enable you to receive one-to-one support as you develop practical teaching skills as well as learning about new approaches to teaching and learning that the assignments explore.
