This computing course is ideally suited to students who wish to pursue a career in the field of emerging technologies and computer science. A wide range of skills will be developed through the course to give entry into roles such as systems and data analyst, computer forensic technician, programmer, digital graphics designer, network administrator or database administrator. The ideal course for budding network technicians and PC maintenance professionals. You will be able to sharpen your skills while building and repairing computers, as well as building networks. To support your progress your course has I.T employability units incorporated to ensure you succeed in this constantly evolving industry.

Progression

Students can progress with us to study a HNC in Computing at our University Centre or an IT & Computing Apprenticeship with Apprenticeships at Salford City College. Alternatively, students can progress to study an undergraduate course at a university of their choice or progress to employment.

Entry Requirements

5 grade 4s/Cs at GCSE – Grade 4 and
above in either English or mathematics
