MATCH REPORT: Eccles 2nd’s v Tameside 2nd’s

The game could not have started any better for Eccles when after 30 seconds they took the lead. A good through ball by Evan was slotted home by Kevin. Tameside began to grow in the game, and were moving the ball well with Eccles struggling to get to grip with the hosts midfield, especially the TamesideS number 8, who was pulling all the strings. On 20 minutes the host scored a deserved equaliser with a low finish from 12 yards .Eccles were getting over run and the home team took the lead, with some bad defending from Eccles. On the stroke of half time horrendous defending by Eccles, trying to dribble out of the 6 yard box, got disposed and Tameside had a tap in. Eccles pulled a headed goal back through Josh, but Tameside scored two late goals.
