Apprenticeships at Salford City College have announced that they are ‘Apprenticeship Provider of the Year’ finalists at the annual AAC Apprenticeship Awards.

The FE Week and AELP AAC Apprenticeship Awards are a celebration of excellence in apprenticeship delivery in the UK and provide an opportunity to give the recognition employers and providers deserve.

After being shortlisted for one of 21 awards, being run in partnership with Open Awards, the team were announced as finalists at the virtual ceremony last Thursday evening, hosted by comedian Rory Bremner.

Allan Milne, Head of Apprenticeships at Salford City College, said: “I am absolutely delighted that we have made the final shortlist for the awards. Our apprenticeship team work tirelessly to support apprentices and employers every day and for this to be recognised by the prestigious panel of judges is a great achievement.”
