He has been brought in to Eccles Sixth Form Centre to assist our Animal Management students develop large animal handling skills.
Now he has his new bachelor pad and friendly neighbours in the college’s chickens and rabbits, Gilbert is looking for a nanny goat to keep him company.
Jennifer Darby, Animal Care Tutor at Eccles Sixth Form Centre, said; “Gilbert is a wonderful addition to our growing family of animals at the college. He has a wonderful nature and thinks himself more human than goat at times – he has a great personality! We’d love to find a lady companion for Gilbert, if anyone in the area knows of a suitable nanny looking for love, please let us know!”
