The college female swimming team have beat-off tough competition to reach the national college finals.
The Salford City College girls swimming team have made the English Schools National Finals, at the semi final competition which took place last month in Coventry.
The team of Kim Rumbelow, Becky Faulner, Emma Norbury (from the Pendleton Centre) and Beth Sanders (from the Eccles Centre) finished 10th in the Medley and Freestyle relays. This takes them into the national final competition, where the girls will be hoping to come back with a trophy.
Added to this, Kim Rumbelow also qualified for the British Colleges National Finals in her individual performance in the 100m Butterfly race.
This is a great achievement for the girls and a great success for the college sports teams.
