Full-Time Applications

Full-time applicants for our HNC and Foundation Degree programmes should apply via UCAS. Depending on the course you are applying for, you will find the course listed either under Salford City College (S11), University of Salford (S03).

Remember, that there are key deadlines for applications to be made via UCAS:

  • 15 January 2017 is the deadline for online applications – we will normally still accept applications after this date, but if you apply after this date and the course is already full we may not be able to consider your application.
  • 25 February 2017 is when UCAS Extra opens – if you have applied and not found a place, you can add additional choices through Extra.
  • 30 June 2017 deadline for applications for 2016/17 applications, after this date new applicants enter clearing.

Students apply for HNC courses  do not have to use UCAS, you can apply direct to the College by completing the HE Application Form and returning it:

  • By post: Admissions, Salford City College, Frontier House, Merchants Quay, Salford Quays, M50 3SR; or
  • Drop your completed form into one of our centres.

Part-time Applications/Direct to the College

If you would like to apply for one of our part-time HE courses or the Level 4 Diploma in Art and Design please complete the HE Application form. We advise that you read the guidance document before completing the application.

Applications from International Students

Please note that unfortunately the College is unable to sponsor international applicants who are in need of a Tier 4 student visa from the UKBA to enter the UK to join our HE courses.
