If you decided to drop-in and enrol, you will need to bring with you:
Method of payment (if applicable)
Proof of any benefits that you are in receipt of
Certificates of any qualifications you may already have
Passport and National Insurance Number (if applying for the Advanced Learner Loan)
Support and other payment options are available including the Advanced Learner Loan; this is available for those studying a Level 3 or above qualification. For guidance on making an application please see: http://www.salfordcc.ac.uk/adult/finance/advanced-learner-loan/
You may also be eligible for financial support from one of the following three funds: Adult Discretionary Learner Support Fund is available for adult learners to help towards accommodation, travel, course materials, equipment and childcare for those with a household income of less than £20,000.
Discretionary 20+ Childcare Fund helps learners aged 20 years and above with a contribution towards the cost of childcare (the childcare provider must be OFSTED registered).
Advanced Learning Loans Bursary Scheme is means-tested, and you may be eligible to receive a payment of up to £50 per week.
