Adult Enrolment

If you are interested in starting a course this September, you can find a list of courses available by clicking here. To enrol onto these courses please attend enrolment on the following days, referring to the Adult Course Guide for venues:

  • Tuesday 27 August 2019, 9.00am – 7.00pm
  • Wednesday 28 August 2019, 9.00am – 4.00pm
  • Thursday 29 August 2019, 9.00am – 7.00pm
  • Friday 30 August 2019, 9.00am – 2.00pm

GSCE English & Maths

GCSE courses may require you to take an initial assessment and if you have not yet done this, this will take place during enrolment. Please allow two hours for this process.

Please note that some courses may become full, and therefore places are not guaranteed if you have not been through the application process. We recommend that you attend enrolment at your earliest opportunity to avoid disappointment if you have not already completed an application.

To enrol, you will need to bring with you:

  • Identification
  • Method of payment
  • Proof of any benefits that you are in receipt of
  • Certificates of any qualifications you may already have
  • Passport and National Insurance Number (if applying for the Advanced Learner Loan)

Support and other payment options are available including the Advanced Learner Loan; this is available for those studying a Level 3 or above qualification. For guidance on making an application please see:

You may also be eligible for financial support from one of the following three funds:

Adult Discretionary Learner Support Fund is available for adult learners to help towards accommodation, travel, course materials, equipment and childcare for those with a household income of less than £20,000.

Discretionary 20+ Childcare Fund helps learners aged 20 years and above with a contribution towards the cost of childcare (the childcare provider must be OFSTED registered).

Advanced Learning Loans Bursary Scheme is means-tested, and you may be eligible to receive a payment of up to £50 per week.
