Salford City College is able to boast a wide and varied range of A-Level and vocational courses.
A-Levels are designed to prepare students for university. Students generally select four subjects to study at AS-Level in their first year and then continue on with three of these subjects
at A2-Level in their second year.
If you are looking for a more work-related course, a vocational BTEC or NVQ may be more suited to your needs. You can work on your own or as part of a team to complete assessments and projects.
Vocational courses operate on a continuous assessment basis. This type of course is generally available at three levels – advanced, intermediate and foundation.
