Salford City College Group is proud to have collaborated with the Groundwork’s Team at Salford City Council to install 12 stunning silhouettes in the Council’s remembrance gardens.

Students and staff from City Skills, part of Salford City College Group have been working tirelessly over the past 12 months to produce the 12 outstanding silhouettes which now proudly stand aside the cenotaph in Swinton, ahead of this weekend’s Remembrance Sunday service.

Paul Healey, Centre Principal for City Skills commented “City Skills is proud to have collaborated with Salford City Council on this Remembrance Gardens Project. It has been a joy to see students and staff collaborating to create this unique art installation for Salford’s Remembrance Gardens.”

A current student at City Skills who worked on the Remembrance Gardens Project added “It has been great to be able to apply the skills and trade that I am learning in the workshops to something so important, that the Salford community will see.”
