Student Ambassadors Thank You Celebration

6th May

Student Ambassadors were treated to a meal in the college training restaurant, The Glass House Restaurant, to thank them for their dedication and hard work over the last academic year.

Student Ambassadors from all centres of the College were invited to the event hosted by CEO/Principal John Spindler.  Students attended with friends and family, in which they enjoyed mocktails, canapés and a two course meal produced and served by our talented Hospitality and Culinary Arts students.  John Spindler opened the meal with a speech to thank students for the work they have done and their contributions to different aspects of college.

Students who attended have taken part in a variety of activities over the past year and have included volunteering, representing the College at events and being a part of the Student Council. All of which is key to ensuring that students are fully involved and help shape the College experience that all students receive whilst they are with us.

Student Ambassador Sophie Bradshaw-Leah, former Harrop Fold School pupil, commented “I joined the task force in the role of Student Ambassador as my friend and I thought it would be great to get involved. It would also look good on our CV and applications to university.  I have really enjoyed the role and enjoyed working with the staff who join us in the tasks we have participated in”.

John Spindler CEO/Principal added: “It is a true delight to be able to congratulate and thank the students for their hard work, motivation and determination, they really do make a difference to Salford City College and I am proud of their achievements.”
