International Baccalaureate Students Enjoy Multi-Faith Meeting
Students are visited by guest speakers from the Open School for Arabic and Islamic studies.
On Friday 5th February, students studying at the Eccles Centre, studying the International Baccalaureate (IB), were visited by two speakers from the Open School for Arabic and Islamic studies.
The speakers came in to discuss the Arab-Israeli conflict with students studying the History unit on the IB course, one from a Muslim perspective and one from a Jewish perspective.
Organised in co-ordination with the college chaplaincy, students gained alot from the very informative talks and can now apply their new knowledge to their coursework.
