Apprenticeships

Earn whilst you learn and be an apprentice with Salford City College, Trinity Training.

Apprenticeships are an alternative route to A Levels or Vocational Courses. So if you are looking to continue your studies and gain a qualification whilst you work, then this may be a great route for you.

Our apprenticeship programme is very successful and in 2010 achieved a 100% pass rate. We have excellent industry links and are seeking dedicated students to become an apprentice.

Apprenticeships are available in:

The college will work with you to find a suitable work placement or you may find your own. You will work towards your NVQ Levels 2 and 3 whilst applying the theory and skills in your workplace. You will gain confidence in working with others and many other vital skills needed for employment.

At the end of your apprenticeship you might continue working at the same organisation, apply for other jobs or even go on to study at university.

Whilst you are an apprentice you will be paid a salary. You will also have a mentor who ensures that your training fits with your requirements and offers the skills needed for the job. You will also be supported and helped with any problems you may have.

Apprenticeship places are limited and so you should apply as soon as you are in year 11 if you are in school or at any time if you are not at school. Students should have grades A-C in English and maths.
